Judicial Committee's Report "Preserving Democracy: What Went Wrong in Ohio" if possible, to present to him. (If you don't want to be that forward, you could just mail it to him, or e-mail him the link).

When will he be speaking? According to the Chamber of Commerce Website, your area code is 937 -- how close is that to Miamisburg (Montgomery County). I work in Centerville.

In my opinion, the blatant misuse of power by Blackwell IS big. While you might not get face to face time, he might allow questions, in which you could find one or two that you really want on the record (perhaps just to see what his response might be). If he knows nothing about what happened in Ohio, about the Recount (or the potential second recount), or the rallies in Columbus with Jessie Jackson, then he will need letters from those of us in Ohio (here at DU and elsewhere) to help educate him. Hopefully, though, he will address this need for election reform straight-up and we can breathe a sigh of relief and try to help get him elected (while making sure Blackwell Does NOT get the Nod for Governor (and yes, that is his aspiration).

If you get any more information, don't hesitate to pass it on (and if you do get more information, you may want to pass it on in the 2004 Election Discussion forum, too - there's a lot of people from Ohio in that group still).
