owner. Employers pay for workmans comp. It is a % of your payroll based on the type of business you operate. In the past, employers received a 80% discount credit. I paid my last installment first quarter '05 and guess what-NO DISCOUNT! This means a BIG increase in employer taxes at a time when the economy is not doing so well. I wonder if the chamber of commerce is happy with the party they helped install.
