We aren't 'growing' so much as 'knowing'...coming to know ourselves....rediscovering who we truly are at our core and why we are here. You undoubtedly have accumulated a lot of wisdom which is looking for meaningful ways to manifest in the world rather than staying locked up inside you. Perhaps it's been dormant and going through gestation. So if you find yourself cursing the skies due to some unwanted burden or 'problem', simply ask what the lesson is and then LISTEN for the answer. It will come. But you must formulate the question and ask for guidance, yes? Write it down if that helps.

I often get my answers in dreams or meditation or epiphanies. Or something someone says strikes home, or a book falls into my lap that is something I need to read....on and on. Pay attention, be a good student. You are already in the flow as is apparent by the synchronisities that are evident (the smudging), so start to become more aware of synchronisities that are manifesting in your life and guiding you along. As you do that your consciousness will grow.
It's really all about paying attention, being present...to our bodies, to our feelings, our thoughts, to others and to life that's all around us.

You may find that it is a breakthrough year and will be worth all the blood, sweat and tears.
