37. I really am amazed at who and how many consider themselves 'healers'. |

I've felt that 'yuck' feeling too. In fact, I'm disappointed much more often than I am enlightened by the experience of those I've run into that call themselves 'healers' and 'shaman'. Many are sincere, but just ......... lost and/or unprepared for that role. The whole thing can be very seductive for the ego too. It's a murky path and many get lost for awhile....others for a lifetime.
That's why it's so important for us to know ourselves and work on opening our own channels to the Divine and to our inner guidance rather than relying too much on other's connections. Their connection and gifts may be very good and legit, and helpful too, but we should never disregard our own. If we don't do that the world is just going to get more confusing for us and we'll forget who we are in favor of living someone else's reality that seems more together than our own, more clearly defined, etc. There are no shortcuts. We just need to keep plodding along in faith.
