So. This fall, the PS3 and XBOX 360 will be graced with the release of "Bayonetta".

"You want to touch me?..... Come on!"

Bayonetta is a witch. Her clothing is her hair, which is magically possessed, but it also acts as her weaponry. Looking like a librarian with a dominatrix fetish, and wearing stiletto heels that are also guns (yes, she has four guns, not two), "Bayonetta" brings the action fighting genre previously occupied by games like "Devil May Cry" to a new level. Featuring fast, over-the-top action and characters to match, this game takes itself seriously not at all, and thus circles around all the way from "over-the-top" with the character design to "over-the-top-silly" with the action, and straight back to the "over-the-top-awesome" station with a giant dragon... made of Bayonetta's hair.

Not much is currently known about the story; however, there are several trailers available on YouTube and elsewhere. Here's some gameplay:

Bayonetta is slated for release in fall of 2009 for the PS3 and XBOX 360.
