Kerry proposed and helped pass the resolution for Jackie Robinson before the election at the request of the Red Sox management to help make amends for the earlier, bad civil rights record of the Red Sox.

I'm sure he was hoping he would be there as President presenting the medal to Jackie's widow.

You can have your own opinion but not your own facts. That rule should apply to both people on the right and the left.

I think Malloy reads DU so you could post a thread about this in one of the general forums so he might see it. I'm on my way to bed but I'll look real quick for an article that gives these facts.

edit to add - if anybody thinks Kerry isn't going to show up for events he thinks he should appear at or he wants to go to because of Bush, they don't have a F@#king clue who JK is.

He went to the friggin Inauguration for Gods sake when I couldn't even stand to watch it on TV.
