7. That's about the size of it.
And thanks. You guys are my sanity check. Keith's getting ripped up one side and down the other, and why? Because he works for eeevul MSNBC, and because he laughed at tacky stuff Michael Musto said about Britney, Paris and Lindsay a few times. *sigh*

What Pats said on another thread is applicable here, too: you gotta love all those "I don't own a TV" purists who somehow always seem to know what is happening on TV, and know who needs to lose their job next because he/she is an insufferable TV personality.

I'm just sick of the sanctimonious "I don't own a TV" bunch, period. TV is like anything else. It's what you make of it--good or bad. If you watch nothing but junk and are glued to it 24/7, that's bad. But if you use it wisely, it's good. And the world isn't even going to end if, every once in a while, it just plain entertains you.

No one's saying Keith has to be the sole source of news for anyone. But given my choice, I'd rather have him than not have him. At the same time, I appreciate him enough as a person, because of what he does, to not want him to stay there just for me. But as long as he's going to come in to work, I'm going to watch him, unless I'm given a damn good reason not to.
