9. My daughter and I were talking about it
She would rather be refered to as a body part "One that I'm don't have any reason to be ashamed of" Than "A dog"

This came about because she uses the word c*** (I believe it's forbidden on DU) When she feels like name calling. Even in the army, women would get upset over that particular word---something about the syntax maybe has always struck a cord--And that was her standard response "Would you rather be called an animal? A dog?"

We talked about women- as- body- parts, and she understands, but she hates the word bitch. I told her to look up the history of the word, (c***, not bitch) since it's rather interesting. At least some of the speculations are.

We both will reverse gender insults of any kind. It's interesting to watch the faces of men--or women when you break the "rules"
