7. I guess my question is: why?
What would be so bad about letting Obama have the nomination? What would be the downside of that, seeing as how most sane contenders in the past have bowed out gracefully when it is clear they couldn't win the nomination.

Would it really be so bad to unite behind Obama now (if, as everyone claims, that is what she is going to do later). Why waste all of the Democratic contributor money fighting each other? What is there to gain by this, if not to actually win the nomination?
