69. Time to take the gloves off on this ridiculous screed: |

Let's see: - "Reminiscent of Republican attacks on Democrats." Oh, my. You mean like suggesting that Obama has no substance to his speeches? Like saying repeatedly that he's a plagiarist with no original ideas over and over again even when the victim of this bogus claim of plagiarism debunked the claim?
- "Since when do Democrats attack each other on universal health care?" Here's some news, Hillary -- you DO NOT have a plan for universal health care or anything similar to it. As long as health insurance exists universal health care, will be a fantasy.
- "I thought this campaign gave us the opportunity to put together a coalition..." A coalition? PLEASE! You have attacked Obama repeatedly on his plan claiming that it leaves tens of millions of people out. You get to attack him, but he has no right to reply? Let's listen to what you said next: "Just because Mr. Obama chose not to present a universal health care plan, he does not have the right to attack me because I did." tsk tsk. There goes that hypocrisy again. You can bash him limitlessly, but he cannot respond. You are consistent in that, but consistency in this case is not admirable.
- "Let's have a real campaign. Enough with the speeches and the big rallies..." Jealous much? He stuffs the Houston Rockets mega-arena on the same night your semi-pro hockey rink was sparsely populated. Goodness, we certainly are transparent.
- "... right out of Karl Rove's playbook." Kinda like attacking Obama for having no substance, and then attacking him again when he presents the differences between you two? Damn!
- "This is the kind of attack that not only undermines core Democratic values but gives aid and comfort to the very special interests and their allies in the Republican Party who are against doing what we want to do for America." And there it is, kiddies, The Rovian Strategy: "You are with us or you are against us." Nicely played, Hillary! And let's talk about core Democratic values, like voting to go to war. Can you sleep at night? Or how about your pro-firearm rhetoric during your swing to the right to pander to centrist Republicans? "My father taught me how to shoot a gun 100 years ago." You want to talk about special interests and core Democratic values -- why in the hell did you declare that lobbyists for huge corporations somehow represent the average Americans? You, my dear, are shameless.
Goodnight, Senator Clinton, and good luck. You will need it.
