Texas history in Rethug crossover voting in Dem primaries

Back in the day, before Dem powerbroker Bob BULLOCK traitored-out in helping Shrub become governor, the Dems ruled all of Texas.

The core Rethugs, who, then as now, ALWAYS vote (whereas the mass of eligible Dems DON'T vote), learned how to maximize what little voting power they had.

Since the Dem nominee would always win in November (often there weren't even any Rethugs running), Rethugs took to voting in the Dem primaries, in order to pick the most Rethug-like among the Dem candidates. Then in the General Election, they either voted for their Rethug nominee or sometimes even voted for the DINO.

After Shrub, the Rethugs took majority power, and they became competitive in some areas. So the Rethugs STILL frequently vote in the Dem primaries, with a different motivation, to pick the WEAKEST Dem nominee, the easiest one for their Rethug nominee to beat. They, of course, vote RETHUG in the General. There is NO "best candidate" motivation for them in crossing over.

They are pure scum-sucking a-holes.

P.S., by the bye, this is what they did with Joementum.

P.P.S., any Dem who TRUSTS Rethugs, wants to work with them, wants a "unity" party or ticket, is a damned FOOL!1
