I'll bet there was a lot more money paid out than just legal fees by those "defending" the long time child predator Mark Foley and his network.

What is truly profoundly disturbing to most parents are the associations and causes that child predators hide behind-for instance Mark Foley was the Chair of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children and sponsor of a bill outlawing electronic sexual predation of children--precisely one of the crimes Foley committed.

Fwiw, when the Mark Foley "scandal" broke just before the 2006 elections some of us here discussed the aspect of who were associated with The Center for Missing and Exploited Children's Board of Directors-and we were shocked by the results.

Mark Foley paid off some of his "debts" with leftover campaign $ too-isn't that another crime?

Mark Foley should have been put behind bars long ago, not in them looking for a hookup to someones child.
