I mean to say, if someone wants to leave, that's fine with me, but why do some of them have to grandstand their exit? If they're not coming back, what's the point in posting such drivel? So we can discuss them after they're gone? Huh? As if that matters a whit.

I say we need to ban them, not recommend them to the greatest post status. I mean, really, what's that all about?

If their post is to educate and transform, they ought to have the guts to hang around and help with the work of change or their claim of concern for DU is clearly bullshit. If their post is sour grapes, who the fuck cares? If their post is a "love ya, now I must leave ya" post, again, who cares?

Is there ANY kind of "TTFN" goodbye post that is worth reading? I say ban 'em. Ban 'em and delete them, not just lock, after all, if they're no longer a member, why leave their droppings around? If you're leaving, you ought to just leave. And if you care about DU, you ought to stay and fight the battle.

Is anyone with me?
