I find it very interesting that the big money GOOP operatives are having their asses handed to them. They divided among the candidates...mostly Rudy, Mittens and Thompson...going for the money and now we're seeing the individual cogs of the GOOP machine that won elections for nearly 30 years falling apart.

Mittens was the "establishment" candidate...the moldable lump, like boooshie and Raygun...the empty suit that could be manipulated to hire cronies, dole out billions in government contracts and pay lip service to the "social conservatives" with his game-show host looks. Substance meant nothing and his Olympic calibre flip-flops were overlooked as he was now a "true believer" a codeword that was supposed to pacify all. The arrogance of his handlers and long with Mitt's ego have made him the Steve Forbes of this campaign...vacuous at best and a totally souless person...the ideal Repugnican.

The thought of the scarmble by the village Repugnicans if a Huckster or McCain wins will be a delight to watch. Where will the Comstocks and Hugh Hewitts and Rushbos go? Will they "join ranks" or be a turd in the punchbowl. If there's any schadenfraude out of the disintegration of the Repugnican party, it's the dismantling of the machine that gave us this regime and two decades of grief and suffering.
