Sure, Lieberman's moral indignation was annoying during the Clinton years, but his voting record (if I recall correctly) wasn't too bad. If someone would have told me in 2000 that Lieberman would start kissing Bush, promoting war, and quit the Democratic Party in order to run as an Independent I would have laughed my a$$ off.

There's a reason why Gore didn't endorse him in 2004. While he might not have a crystal ball, he does have common sense.
