19. Good question. The heavy-weights backing this and that candidate must
be at each other's throats. Or at least at cross purposes. The fundie voter fears McCain and likely flocks to Huckabee. Romney either wins today or he's likely dead meat. Well, he's not organic enough to be dead meat. "Dissembled automaton" I guess would be more accurate.

Giuliani evidently is dumping cash into Florida, thinking he can win there and then buoy the campaign. If he doesn't win there, he and his third wife will have to retire and spend their sunset years torturing animals and foreign nationals, their hallmarks.

And despite a late ad buy in South Carolina, I'm still not seeing the critical mass that's going to sweep Fred Thompson into the White House.

Ol' Newt must be kicking himself for not entering the race.
