85. 1997: Valerie Plame was attending reception at home of Turkey's ambassador when she met Joe Wilson.
Although Joe Wilson had previously written of their first meeting at this reception in DC, it apparently does not appear in Plame's own memoir. Can't tell if she simply omitted the story (which would seem odd) or if it was in a blacked out section censored by the CIA.

Of course the CIA evidently censored much that was already public knowledge and of no obvious national security value. Chronologically in the book, heavily blacked out by CIA censors, where you would expect at least some discussion of the appearance of this significant man in her life, there is no visible mention of Plame meeting or becoming involved with Joe Wilson. After a considerably censored section, there is just a comment of her and "Joe" being consumed by their respective responsibilities (even what this "Joe" did for a living was censored). Bizarre.
