People should get to keep their same health insurance and get paid a salary similar to that of their prior job, while also receiving free job re-training and placement. Even if it has to be done outside of government, to please the Republicans, then let it be.

Layoffs are sometimes necessary for companies to survive, but unfortunately the way we do it in America is absolutely inhuman and ought to be ended.

Ideally, people would save as much as possible, but sometimes savings get wiped out. Things happen to people, or sometimes they just don't make enough to get by each month.
