1) The Democrat President and Congress must fail to improve the life of Americans between 08-10.

2) The Democrats have to lose the House, the House is so important when it comes to spending and appropriations.

3) A charismatic Republican must rise from their ashes and be the opposite of Bush (intelligent, articulate,and a "true" Reagan conservative).

4) The Democrat President must be weak going into the 2012 election. If Obama or HRC are doing a good job, then the Republicans will suffer a great setback.

I feel that they are crippled at the moment, but I never rule anything out in politics. IMHO, after Watergate occurred in the mid 70's, there was no raeson for Republicans to dominate the White House the way they have for the past 28 years. The Democrats failed to capitalize on Republican blunders. They cannot fail the American people again and they must give the people what they deserve, such as Universal Healthcare (Single Payer in my dreams), Military Peace/real justice for terrorists, and an economy in which the world is envious of the American industrial machine. If the Dems make sure there is economic prosperity by ensuring quality American jobs are created and the tax structure is fixed, we can have untold of growth possibilities.
