So, Ann Coulter Is Speaking At My School (Part 2)
Advertisements [?]
I posted a thread here about a month ago asking for ideas on how to protest Coulter's speaking engagement at my school. Well, we finally came up with a suitable plan and I wanted to share it with you guys.

Tickets can be purchased by non-students, but for students, the event is free (since they're using our student activity fee to pay for it, barf). So the plan is we're all going to "purchase" our free tickets the day they go on sale, all progressive, left-leaning students on campus, effectively "selling out" the event. As the major news reporter for our school's alternative paper (also the largest paper seeing as the "official" paper is a total conservative rag), I will be covering the event. We're gonna get a nice, large photo of Ann speaking to an empty auditorium and put it right on the front cover.

We went through several different ways of protesting, but this one seemed to us to be the funniest. We might also run a counter-event with some speakers and/or bands, but I'm itching to write article!
