My globalism rant. What is globalism? [View All]

Mayor Bloomberg is on CSPAN taking about NY City, the world, etc. He stated that in a world of globalism we must adjust....blah, blah, blah. He was bragging about the population of NY City being 1/3 foreign born, mostly since the 80s, and that has helped them as an economy. We (I guess he means NY City) now do business around the world. He's bragging about his success? I've never heard such lies and propaganda. What arrogance these Neo Cons have today.

If NY City has that many foreign born since the 80s then their school system is in big trouble. He didn't discuss that. I heard people complain just in California they have young students who speak 200 different languages. What a nightmare. If this is true than the school system and teachers have gone beyond what we had demanded of them. The fact that the students learn at all is a miracle.

The media and politicians wonder why the public school system has lower scores and taxes are going higher all the time? Their schools are so over crowed they have to go part days, etc. How's that going to result in good test scores George? It is not good for American citizens born in this country since their education is being compromised for new ones.

When a politicians acts like "globalization" is here whether we like it or not, I know they are Neo Cons. Neo Cons who are profiting for the few (like the Bloomberg family on Wall Street). What globalization means to me is World Order Government...their way. Rule by the few.

Globalization isn't democracy and what made us great but is destroying us more everyday. We lose good jobs replaced by those immigrants who work for less...desparate from 3rd world countries. Those countries whose governments are run by foreign Empires (seeking resources) or religious organizations (over population and poverty...tryanny) come here seeking a better life (which is going under too).

Think about it. These American politicians took an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution and our laws yet want their own world leadership and a way of doing things which are not in our best interest but theirs. And by god they get "theirs" not matter what!! They are speaking treason not new "economic trade policy" which is good for us.

When you think about it, we Americans have traveled the world (around the world...to the other side of the world...in far off places, etc.) doing trade deals before NAFTA. We've been doing trade for hundreds of years. The balance was mutual not one sided like now. So world trade is not a new deal.

Globalism under secret trade organizations and "policies" where "we the people" have no say (or elect trade representatives)or media information is just plain criminal and treason. Global international corporations pay as little taxes as possible even though they profit off us. They are a big part of those secret organizations funding the politicians, etc. They control how they vote and run our country. It is Fascism.

Congress controls trade not the President and his appointed trade representatives. So they are both abusing their power by not doing their duties as the Constitution requires. There has not been ratification of our Constitution to change trade policies either. They have just about abandoned this piece of old paper which is the contract between the people and their government. Without our Constitution and Bill of Rights, we are not a union or a democracy.

We should insist they stop using this "globalism" word and do their duty as they swore under oath. This is a question we should be asking candidates BEFORE they take office. Why are we staying in the WTO since it is not in our best interest? Our trade deficit grows larger everyday. We don't produce our own food, military equipment, clothes, etc. We can't defend ourselves since we aren't self sufficient as we were in the past. We are open to our enemies.

I don't like Spain owning my public built roads or the British using Niagara Falls Mohawk power for Toronto, Canada...or owning our oil,energy corporations in all of the North East,railroads,forests,(all publicly paid for and built). It's just plain robbery. It puts us in danger of high prices and no real over sight. It threatens our security and our way of life (not Bin Laden).
