6. What does that have to do with the price of coffee? |

I didn't say "hate." I said "despise." I avoided the word "hate" because it has specific connotations that do not truly define how I feel.
The dictionary.com definition of Despise is:
to regard with contempt, distaste, disgust, or disdain; scorn; loathe.
The dictionary.com definition of hate is:
to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest: to hate the enemy; to hate bigotry.
"Hate" can be a synonym for despise, but it also suggests hostility and a potential for violence that I do not believe "despise" does. "Despise," to me, suggests an urge to avoid, while "hate" suggests an urge to attack.
