and I really want to see weed legalized. But the ironic thing is, if it did become legal, Humboldt's economy would be devastated. And corporations would simply move elsewhere to grow it. The Humboldt County I fell in love with would essentially cease to exist.

But nothing lasts forever, and the area will always remain one of the most beautiful on Earth. If you've never been up there then do yourself a favor and go. Some of the most awe-inspiring nature you'll ever see. Light up some of the native product, and have yourself a nice transcendental experience. Humboldt has a way about it, man. If you spend any serious time there, it will change you, and for the better if you let it.
