The thing I'm conflicted about is that they're home-schooling: one the one hand it's a good thing that they're not burdening the public schools with all those kids. On the other hand, I've taught some Christian home-schooled kids at the college level and in my experience they've always arrived poorly prepared for college work and are often deeply anti-intellectual: in other words, pretty much guaranteed to struggle and fail. But no doubt these kids will all get packed off to Billy-Bob's Christian U, Inc., in Ardmore, OK, or wherever, where all the mis-information they're receiving through home schooling will be reinforced and amplified. Then they'll go to work in the federal government. Oy.
