Notice something odd in that picture? Like, a tremendously lush lawn and a huge fountain that recirculates precious little water? The lawns are quite large and watered not by reclaimed water (as many residential lawns in Phoenix are) but by a expansive SPRINKLER system--I repeat--this is NOT reclaimed water. Commercial car washes are required to recycle their own water and use reclaimed, treated sewer water--but golf courses and private residences, even if they are "multi-family" are not...

No joke--there is NO desert landscaping on that property anywhere and the underground parking is evaporative cooled (I've been there).

And yes--Governor Resigned in Disgrace Fife Symington OWNS the land it was built on and the Ms. Hensley bought it well before it was offered to the public (possibly before the land was zoned; the wealthy LONGTIME residents of that are were NOT happy about a high-rise in their backyards; it was a HUGE issue in Phoenix)--yet another example of the cozy relationship between Ms. Hensley, future ex-Senator McCain, and a DISGRACED LAND DEVELOPER/FINANCIER.

SHE's the consummate political opprotunist, DU, believe me, and she won't stop at anything to be First Lady--and neither will her ultra-wealthy friends.
