12. Schweitzer has a future, I like him, but there is a risk to running two relatively
young unknowns when we are at war in two countries, the Middle East is volatile, and the economy is going down the shitter. I trust Obama 100%, he's about the only guy with his level of experience and age that could have won my confidence in his abilities during these perilous times. But two relative newbies on one ticket just starts to strain that "change" thing a little too far. For psychological reasons, I really think Obama will get more votes if he has a "tried and true" older, more seasoned person with him. Webb is new to the Senate, it's true, and I've argued against him as VP in the past for that reason--BUT, he has been around Washington a long time, has a lot of national security creds from his Navy Sec days, and has the right "no-bullshit", tough-guy, centrist image to take on the GOP, so that's why he stays on my list.
