"Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign. Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees’ same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person’s fundamental rights — including the right to marry — should not be affected by their sexual orientation. Apple views this as a civil rights issue, rather than just a political issue, and is therefore speaking out publicly against Proposition 8."
Comments:
Yes, I already forwarded the RSS feed I was just sent to the AFA.

I think donations should come from individual citizens, not companies. After all, "companies" don't get a ballot.
Note: particularly rich coming from a Fundy.====
This is a bad decision for Apple. Their sales WILL go down, especially if the AFA sends out a boycott. Hopefully they'll back-peddle on this.

Steve Jobs has to know what happened to McD's and Ford. I can't imagine he would allow this continue.

If you didn't already know Steve Jobs is in to Buddhism and all kinds of non-Christian spirituality, not to mention he's a total jerk to people (definitely not possessing the Fruits of the Spirit), then I guess this would be surprising. Since it's a tech company out of California, it should come as no surprise.

Apple has been

AND THE GRAND PRIZE GOES TO:
Think about their logo. It glorifies sin entering into the world (IMHO).
