4. Actually, when I was canvassing for Brown
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 01:25 PM by dubeskin
I was surprised at the large amount of Republicans defecting over to him. It's a great feeling to see an elderly Republican voting for a Democratic candidate. All it takes is a few minutes to convince them.

Whenever I was in the campain office, there was a strong feeling that he was going to win. It's definitely going to be tight if he does, because the competition is so big. But I definitely think if the more urban areas like Auburn, Roseville, and Rocklin show out, Brown can win it, which will be lovely.

On edit: Although, the main trouble comes in though is that Brown is somewhat of a conservative Democrat. While and Democrat is a good one (with the exception of a few) I think that it could pose somewhat of a problem on the issues. For example, Brown describes himself as a fiscal conservative. In fact, he was a former Republican. Just because we'll extend our majority, doesn't necessarily mean though that all the Congressional Dems will support the same policies.
