Sure is a relief. I'll feel better on January 20 -- my concern was always more getting Bush and the neocons out than any particular candidate in -- but this is starting to feel better, even if it'll probably take a while to sink in. Lots of work ahead for the country but, for now, I'm just going to let the effects of a special celebratory repast of Trader Joe's choc-chip cookies and chocolate milk wash over me...

My congratulations to...well...all of humanity (though, no, I still find Freeper types too despicable to include in that category, even at this hour when magnanimous gestures and celebration of unity amidst diversity seem so appropriate).
