et al... it is cheap, it is reliable and I happen to love it
Here are GOOD instructions on how to install Open Office 3,0 on yours (or any other LINUX distro you may need)
http://www.linuxpromagazine.com/online/blogs/productivity_sauce_dmitri_s_open_source_blend_of_productive_computing/installing_openoffice_org_3_0Been kind of... command language UGGGHHH!!!!! and I am having flashbacks to the ancient Disk Operating System 3.0, otherwise known as DOS and word perfect 5.0... did I just date myself a tad?
But still, now running the same new Open Office on my three machines (yes the win needs to go to the shop for a new power supply) but hey, the writers tools are amazingly good, and as a writer... well kind of need it... or rather gotten spoiled to it, and the Asus came with 2.0 which is a tad (very dated)
So it took me two months and a good guide to do this... FINALLY running 3.0 and I could not be happier
