90. Made me sick, too!
MEET JIM, NOT EVERYONE LIKES HIM! SO WHAT?

YEP! I'M A GOOD AMERICAN

I am the Neocon-Conservative's worst Nightmare.

I follow their example of capitalization and

double-spacing in my replies to them but will

not omit the apostrophe indicating "possession".

I was a Master Mason, Secretary of the Lodge, until

a state officer embezzeled Masonic funds. I began

to see that Masonic dogma can be used for less-than-

good purposes and that describing one's self as

a Master Mason is intended disarm those who would

question one's character.

I ride in a four-wheeled Toyota pickup truck because

of it's utility, economy and frequency of repair

record and believe that blind allegiance to Nationalism

is a form of insanity.

I believe the money I make is the result of

the opportunity I've been provided by those

who have gone before me. Thus, I feel obligated

to see that a bit of it goes to help the needy, not

some Neocon governmental functionary to finance

wars of aggression.

I'm in touch with my feelings and try to consider

the feelings of others. And, I like it that way.

I think owning a long-gun could make you a hunter

while owning a pistol could make you a plinker,

collector, or killer. Smart Americans use a

scatter gun for home protection rather than use a

hand-cannon, the use of which might very well kill

a loved one in another room.

I think being a minority does not make you

noble or victimized. Yet, I understand that a

certain entitlement is required to ameliorate

the limitations of education imposed upon minorities

for most of their lives. A helping hand may offset

a little of the hand that held chains, whips, and ropes.

Decent folks will help their neighbors, regardless

of their color, culture, sexual orientation, age, size, or

religion. Knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing, red-necked

Neocons can take their inhumanity and stick it!

I believe that, if you are selling me a

Big Mac, you can point to a picture if

English is becoming your second language.

I believe that everyone has right to pray to

his or her god, if any, when it doesn't interfere

with critical responsibilities.

I love the memory of John Wayne, Babe Ruth, and

Roy Rogers. Yet, my heroes are Mark Twain,

Robert Ingersol, Stephen Jay Gould, Carl Sagan,

Isaac Assimov, et al.

I don't hate the rich; I consider the plight of

the poor.

I know wrestling is fake but enjoyed watching it

with Grandma, who just knew that Danny Savage was

really raking a Grand Prize beer cap across Gorgeous

George's eyes.

I've never owned a slave, though I thought I had

until my first wife got me straightened out in a

hurry. I've been a slave to a number of things

but only a boss or two who felt I should earn the

monies provided me. I haven't burned any witches,

though I've pissed-off one or two. I haven't been

persecuted by the Turks or anyone else except an

ex-wife who I wish would shut up already...and

loud-mouthed, mindless Neocons who incessantly

push ignorance over facts, Nationalism over Globalism,

Patriotism over Common Sense, Religion over Realism.

I believe if you don't like the way things

are here, you can work in our Democracy to change

them. This is a part of America, as is Canada, Mexico,

Meso- and South America. This is the United States of

America and we change it for the better as intellect

and circumstances demand.

If you were born here and don't like it, you are free

to work to change it. And, if Neocons don't like positive,

morally-required changes, they can go establish their own

dictatorship and have George W. Bush for the Dictator.

I'm not a bit interested in knowing which church it is where

Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches anymore than I am in knowing

where Ann Coulter practices law. I feel certain that

Coulter's gets her money from hate-filled, devisive

Neocons who delight in her trashy, despicable invective. She,

perhaps, he is an highest example of the Ugly American that

the rest of the world abhors.

Can I get a "Hell, yes" to that one?

I also think the cops have limited rights to pull

you over and should exercise those rights upon lawbreakers.

It is right if warranted and unacceptable if not. And, I wonder

how the general noun "god" got placed upon our currency in place of

the proper noun "YHWH". It is a mystery to me but I think that

there are folks too ignorant to understand what I've written...

and proud of that ignorance.

I think that if a ballot is so poorly designed that its

proper completion is not intuitive, then the folks that

created it are stupid or attempting fraud. I don't want them

deciding, by their deception, who should be running the most

militarily powerful nation in the world for the next

four years.

I feel that each citizen, including the President of the United

States, should honor his Country in anyway that he or she feels

fit and not by a method demanded by some Neocon nitwit.

I don't dislike folks trying to stay alive through any legal

activity. I don't feel guilt or shame for saying, "Thank you, no."

It could be that the Neocon agenda has put the poor stiff into

that untenable position.

I believe that each of us is instrumental to our society and its

children. When a child is about to do something dangerous or

illegal, it is unconscionable for an adult not to speak up. Too,

single-parent families can raise fine children who may grow up to

be President.

I believe that 'illegal' is illegal according to the law as it

stands and that unjust laws should be overturned whenever

necessary.

I believe the American flag is an honorable representation of the

group of colonies that have come together, united in their desire

to offer freedom, liberty, and opportunity to all. While it is

displayed in the highest position on a flagpole, as it should be,

no asshole Neocon will ever deprive me of flying the flag of the

Lone Star State, formerly Republic of Texas, just under it.

If this make me a GOOD American, then yes,

I'm a GOOD American.

If you are a GOOD American, too, please print this missive

out and shove it some Neocon's ass.

We've got our Country back!

WE NEED CARING, HARD-WORKING, REPECTFUL, INTELLIGENT, DECENT

FOLKS IN OUR COUNTRY WHOSE HONORABLE, WORTHY PROTESTATIONS

AND DECLARATIONS STIFLE THE HATE-FILLED GARBAGE SPEWED OUT BY

DISGUSTING NEOCONS.

WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE,
ONLY BECAUSE FOLKS WERE AND ARE BRAVE
ENOUGH TO PUT THEIR HEELS ON THE THROATS
OF THOSE WHO WOULD DIVIDE US UNDER THE
GUISE OF PATRIOTISM!
