It doesn't make me want to leave this country though. It was a relatively small group of people. Were you alive when the Who concert in Cincinatti had people killed because of "festival seating"? If so, did you want to leave the country then?
I could have been sitting in a cafe in Mumbai like the Rabbi, his wife, and his child (his child being the only one of the three to survive, due to the heroic action of others). I could have been getting on a train in Madrid when the bombs went off. I could have been on the Achille Lauro, or in Munich in 1972. Those incidents happened because of rabid hate. This incident today happened because of tough economic times, and a wish to be "first to get one".
I'll trade one of our incidents for ten of theirs any day.
Not ashamed here, just sad.
