You DO know that he's had a large target painted on his back for years and that MSNBC execs have just been waiting for an excuse to stifle him, don't you?

It's called a pattern, folks.

Let me illustrate. Joe Scabs gets to make donations because he's a "commentator". We know Pat Buchanan has also made political contributions. Seems to indicate some selective contract enforecement on the part of MSNBC, with a specific purpose in mind, doesn't it?

Sure, Keith didn't help himself by doing this. But it would have been any excuse the MSNBC execs could find. They just didn't have to dig on this one.

"But what about Rachel, O'Donnell and Big Ed?" you ask. Well, Rachel is more low-key, O'Donnell has some political cred in his background, and Ed is just a buffoon who really doesn't help our cause much. Still, once the hubbub over KO dies down, look for the rest to be quietly and steadily canned, too.

This is a *pattern*.

Not just with MSNBC, but with ALL "news" networks. We know that Glenn Beck's advertisers have deserted him like he's the turd in the punch bowl. Yet, Faux continues to keep him on air. Because they have a specific message they want to project, and it isn't about money for them, as they make plenty of it elsewhere.

Same with MSNBC. KO is their highest rated on air personality, so from a business standpoint, their action makes no sense. But if you look at it through the lens of message and information control, everything falls into place.

This suspension may have had some legitimate underpinnings, but it was entirely politically motivated.
