Many people have been injured after the army opened fire on anti-government protesters in Zawiyah
Earlier at least 10 anti-regime fighters were reportedly killed as the dictator's forces tried to regain control of the western port city, 30 miles from the capital Tripoli. Meanwhile, in Tripoli's Tajoura district, loyalists fired at least five tear gas canisters at the crowd of around 1,500 protesters who were demanding an end to his rule, reports said. Gunshots were also heard. A journalist said: "They fired teargas. I heard shooting.
