The family of James Miller, the award-winning cameraman killed in a Gaza refugee camp last year, is to sue the Israeli government over the incident.

Miller's sister, Anne Waddington, said today she would launch a civil action against the Israeli authorities following the fatal shooting of her brother in May 2003.

The 34-year-old was shot while filming a Channel 4 documentary following the lives of ordinary Palestinian children growing up in the shadow of the Arab/Israeli conflict.

Death in Gaza was completed after Miller's death and features footage showing how he was killed by an Israeli soldier.

1. Sorry to say I didn't read of this killing until seeing your link.
Really hope the family will be able to get enough public attention to its great, and needless loss.

Thanks.
