Camden, New Jersey rated Most Dangerous City
http://www.cfra.com/headlines/index.asp?cat=2&nid=21999

I used to live in Philly for a while and we always referred to Camden (across the Sure Kill River) as Condemn, New Joisey.

Well, the city (home of Walt Whitman) outdid Detroit to be the most dangerous town in the US! Way to go!

10. Ha! not nice!
Well, the second or third best city is also in NJ...Bricktown. I used to live in Pt. Pleasant right on the boarder of Bricktown...in fact, I went to preschool in Bricktown (now that was a LONG time ago!)...Never thought it deserved best city though!

3. Camden is across the Delaware River not the......
Schuylkill River. I grew up by the "School-Kill" river and it empties into the Delaware in Philadelphia. Sorry for the Geography lesson.

9. Ha...That place is a hell hole
Me and my friend got lost in Camden once...Scariest hour of my life. We were only 17 and were trying to find the Tweeter Center (mapquest gave us directions to Camden...but not the Tweeter Center...how nice of them!) There were people standing outside on their porches...sitting on couches on their porches...staring at the little lost girls in the nice car driving through hell. They were supposedly trying to clean it up a bit, but last time I was there (warped tour 03) it was still lookin like hell. Hey, and what about Asbury Park? That place is a hell hole too. The only thing they have anymore is the newspaper (my dad used to work there too...scary). I was just down there a couple weekends ago to go to the Stone Pony and shit man...that place is a ghost town!

15. I went and saw warped at the Tweeter Center
I think it was '02 though. I remember every part of the city I went to smelling like absolute crap. I also went to Asbury Park last summer and was amazed by how deserted that place was. It truly was the skeleton of a coastal town. And to think, they gave us The Boss.

16. The Asbury Park Press was the only NJ newspaper to endorse Bush.
I want to boycott them.
