WP: Kerry Team Seeks to Join Fight To Get Ohio County to Recount
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 10:55 PM by wheresthemind
Sen. John F. Kerry's presidential campaign asked an Ohio judge yesterday to allow it to join a legal fight there over whether election officials in one county may sit out the state's impending recount.

A pair of third-party presidential candidates, who said that reports of problems at the polls on Election Day are not being addressed, are forcing the Buckeye State to recount its entire presidential vote. But David A. Yost, a lawyer for Delaware County, just outside Columbus, won a temporary restraining order last week blocking any recount there. He told the Columbus Dispatch that a second count would be a poor use of county resources. President Bush won the mostly Republican area handily, unofficial results show.

33. Ding ding ding! Gloria, you're our grand prize winner!
Does everybody honestly think that Kerry has been in a coma all this time? He knew that any immediate action he took would come across as inventing the controversy in order to save HIS ass. Now that some legitimate issues have been raised WITHOUT the apparent help of the Kerry campaign, he can act as more of a "friend of the court" than as a disgruntled, vengeful sore loser.

of the fight. Kerry is a past master at digging till it hurts. I don't think he is ready to engage the enemy yet. He's sending in advisors(with small arms) first.

12. COUNT THE ENTIRE STATE.
Remember Florida, when President Gore's team failed to ask for the total state recount? They missed all the overvotes that would've gone for Gore etc etc etc.

Apart from a paper-ballot re-vote, about the only way left is to count the entire state. That way we catch ALL the cheating, from Toledo to Geneva to Athens to Cincinnati.

What's to lose? Bush? Ha ha ha. That's the idea.

14. Hey, Frank!
"There's always a way." -- Jeeves

The thing is, the BFEE is so freaking powerful (read "rich"), they seem to have bought their way into the White House.

Consider everyone you know in the red states and ask, "How was it that there seemed to be so much movement toward Kerry, yet the vote totals did not reflect the bumper stickers, lawn signs, people-to-people conversations?"

The only way it makes sense is if there were massive vote fraud. Lookee what Wayne Madsen, a REAL JOURNALIST, reported Tuesday:

More On Vote Rigging With
Saudi/Enron Funds

By Wayne Madsen
Online Journal
11-30-4

Additional information on the buying of vote riggers with Saudi and former Enron funds has been obtained. The epicenter for the vote rigging operation is Dallas, Texas, and the operation may involve retired FBI agents who used a well-established "good ole boy" network to arrange for access to polling precincts by electronic voting machine technicians who took advantage of various November 2 security "lockdowns" to illegally alter the tabulation of votes in favor of Bush. Some of the retired agents may have used courtesy credentials issued upon retirement to fool unsuspecting polling place workers.

The cost of the operation was estimated at $29 million with the money sent via a circuitous network of offshore trust companies and shell activities. This reporter has obtained a copy of a bank check for $29,600,000 that was allegedly sent to cover the cost of the Texas-based vote rigging operation. The check is dated October 22, 2004, and was made payable to "Five Star Investment Ltd.," a trust said to have long connections to Saudi-funded operations in Texas and around the world. The payer is identified as "Equity Financial Trust," a Houston-based "brass plate" and post office box entity tied to offshore Cook Islands "folding tent" accounts used to hide away profits amassed by the former Enron as well as Saudi financiers.

On October 6, 2004, some two weeks before Equity Financial Trust transferred the money to Five Star Investment Ltd., the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for Canada listed Equity Financial Trust, along with Bankers Financial and Security Trust, Falcon Financial and Trust, and Unity Virtual Trust Group as "unauthorized financial institutions." In fact, the check for $29.6 million, which is marked "Not to exceed fifty million dollars," is drawn on the Laurentian Bank of Canada's Toronto branch. Its serial number is 317675450 3 and the bank number is 23-97/1020. The bank instrument is issued by Integrated Payment Systems, Inc. of Englewood, Colorado, and Bank One, NA, Denver, Colorado.

It is noteworthy that a number of companies operated by past Bush campaign contributor Pierre Falcone, under criminal investigation in France for weapons smuggling in Angola, are called "Falcon." Several non-governmental organizations, including Global Witness, have tied Falcone to questionable Halliburton activities when Vice President Dick Cheney headed the firm.

38. Bro... Maybe we all wear BLUE ARMBANDS.
Correct me if I'm Republican, but I certainly can't believe that satan's monkey got 10 million more votes than the first time he stole a presidency. If anything, he's made 20 million more enemies with his asinineministration.

Let's propose a visible sign that everyone can acknowledge. If everybody started wearing a blue armband, we'd pretty soon see how many of US there really are. We might be surprised to discover that almost the entire nation are DEMs.

Then, should the little turd from Crawford actually escape justice and get inaugurated by the racist Rehnquist, we could all turn out with blue armbands to show him - and the world - for what he really is, a fraud.

PS: Thanks, frank frankly! Same goes for you!

40. Dirty isn't the word for it.
Remember what Kerry said after a TV interview?

He said the Bush administration was the "biggest bunch of crooks and liars" he'd "ever seen." He's absolutely correct.

Let's not give up the ship. I certainly won't abandon it to the pirate idiot Cheney and his barely house-trained minkey.

BTW: A hearty welcome to DU, votesomemore! Like the handle. Are you from Chicago?

28. Tell Like it is OCTAFISH!!!
I had the honor to attend a Kerry rally the night after he stole Dub-yuh in front of sixty million people in that first debate. I can't tell you how excited I (and the hoards) of other Democrats were the next day. The main thing that hit home to me that day was the voting method (something were not proud of here in Florida). These voting machines had NO PAPER TRAIL! How the hell do you do a recount! I can't see Florida going blue with Jeb as Governor and an electronic voting sytem that's unaccountable. It's hard to believe that this happens in America...

41. Hey, locutus!
That was some night! Kerry DESTROYED satan's monkey. "Big time," as Sneer would say.

Regarding our problem with the paperless voting machines. There are several DUers, including Bev Harris, who've done a mountain of work on getting the word out and doing something about them.

Canada uses paper ballots that get counted by hand at each polling place. When the numbers are tabulated, they're phoned in to a central office. Then all the numbers get added up. All along the way, people from all parties watch and confirm that it's all legit. That's how a Democracy is supposed to work.

BTW: A hearty welcome to DU, locutus! Dig the name!

Didn't at one point we hear this already? Keith said something on the like Kerry/Edward to join recount, then it was recanted a few hours latter. I don't know the specifics, but I also don't want to seem a downer. I couldn't find anything about this on the net MSM.

I hope this is true. I say if Kerry can find fraud let pull a Ukraine type protest. You can tell they love democracy, perhaps more then us.

I posted it yesterday, and here it is again. Call these idiots and tell them to report the REAL news in Ohio. They haven't reported the Warren County fake terrorist threat where they counted the votes behind a locked dooor. They haven't talked about the almost 100,000 impossible votes in Cuyahoga County. And they sure didn't talk about Bush getting 4,000 votes from Gahanna, a liberal Columbus suburb, where only 600+ people voted. Lock up their phone lines and make their life hell.

Also, fluoride is a waste byproduct of chemical (fertilizer) manufacturing, costs a lot of money to dispose of (if you don't dump it into the water supply) and is a highly poisonous reagent.

You are better off without it.
