Artists Eats Fox To Protest Society's Misplaced Priorities
Performance artist Mark McGowan, who counts among his feats pushing a peanut along the road to Prime Minister Tony Blair's Downing Street home with his nose, has eaten a fox in protest at the public's fixation with a govt ban on fox hunting.

He described the roast fox, which he ate in public, as quite tasty, although he admitted to nearly vomiting at times. "It was bit like rack of lamb," he told Reuters today. "The trouble was the wretching noises from the other people in the room."

Too much attention is paid to fox hunting, he said. "One million people marched against fox hunting and another million marched for it. The housing estate where I live is full of crack-heads but noone marches to help them," he said.

5. And In Yet Other News...
...Lord Plentybottom, in protest of Mark McGowan's consumption of fox as an erstwhile statement decrying society's supposed misplaced priorities, devoured at a single sitting a lightly roasted and only mildly seasoned crack addict.

He was later overheard as describing the crackhead's flavor as, "very similar to that of broiled chicken."

"We need to get back to issues that really count, and such a category would certainly include the fox!" belched the portly aristocrat. "Crack fiends be damned!"

"Or in a pinch, broiled!"

How very Dickens of you. :)

2. LOL...he's right actually
"Everyone gets really worked up about a furry animal, but no one cares about each other."

7. There is a good reason for that...
some animals are cute and furry, most people arent.

Infact alot of people are downright ugly.

We would probably be better off with a lot less people in the world, however we have already killed off alot of animals in the world.

That being said I support people eating tasty animals.

10. It's not a straight comparison.
A crackhead has to at least choose to fix themselves. It is partially in their hands. A fox has no choice in whether he gets hunted for sport or eaten by banal comedians. So if you protect foxes, you protect all of them. Anything you do about crackheads will be only as successful as the crackheads allow it be.

who says there is only one priority, you can care about more than one thing. So why doesn't he start a movement than for the 'crack- heads' instead of putting down other people's causes. :argh:

4. Two million people on the march?
Er, I don't think so.
And the public isn't nearly as fixated with fox-hunting as the policians: 700 hundred hours of parliamentary time taken up with debating fox hunting. 7 hours spent on the decision to wage an illegal war in Iraq.
The world has gone mad.

6. Yuck! At our place we shoot them for messing with the chickens
Then we either bury them or use them to lure in the coy dog vermin. Never even considered eating the forest rats.

13. Remind me never to eat at your place
No matter how good of an ant/fly/mouse pie you may make :-)

Honestly, there are circumstances where you definitely do not want to eat what you kill, but it is still reasonable to kill the animal if the situation warrants it.
