Ralph Nader's requested 11-precinct hand recount ended yesterday with results changing little from initial tallies.

Representatives for the independent presidential candidate had said the recount could expand to other precincts or states if enough errors were revealed, but Nader ruled out continuing yesterday.

Nader spokeswoman Amy Belanger called the results "a good statistical representation of the state."

2. Hrmm paper trail=' no errors
didn't we not expect the recount in NH to change all that much.

The point in counting it was to prove where there was a paper back-up with electronic voting machines there was little error.

I think I read that some place, the recount was to see if there was a trend.?
