Dollar going down (again, today) on world currency markets
PARIS, December 2 (Itar-Tass) -- The U.S. dollar has shown another major slip relatively to world currencies on Thursday morning.

The dollar sold for 1.3376 euros at 11 :00 Moscow time.

At the same time the dollar’s rate to Japan’s yen has fallen to a bottom-low 1:102.02 in the past four years.

World financial markets are bracing for the Bank of Japan’s beginning a currency intervention on Thursday in order to avert a fall of the yen’s rate below 102 dollars.

Gold prices climbed up in these conditions. The troy ounce costs 456.54 dollars at present.

1. No, they just have no intention...
Of doing one real positive thing for the economy. Any fool who thinks that they are doing this to bring manufacturing back to the US needs to get the gluebag off their nose.

What I cannot get is what their ultimate intention is, beyond just ruining the economy.

2. Is anyone in our government even concerned about this?
It seems as if they're all just sitting back watching the dollar fall and fall, yet no one's doing anything about it. Pretty soon we'll all be using rocks as currency.
