~snip~

(Baghdad, Iraq-AP) Dec. 2, 2004 - Two US soldiers and two Iraqi National guardsmen were injured Thursday in a car bomb attack near the northern Iraqi town of Beiji.

The military says the bomb hit near a Bradley fighting vehicle, but it offered no other details.

At least one person was killed when five mortar rounds hit central Baghdad. A few of the rounds hit inside the Green Zone where Iraqi government offices and several embassies are located.

Police say another round struck near a mobile phone office killing one person and wounding three.

1. Is this different than the ones posted yesterday.....
that happened in the Green Zone? I can't keep track any more. Our flags are at half-staff again today because another Michigan soldier is being buried today. No one cares.

2. They do care about who is going to win the football game this Sunday
And they could give a rip if Juan or Carlos gets killed by an IED except the good stock holders of Halliburton-- who want to see a profit.

4. another soldier shot dead &14 more unidetified bodies found in Mosul
The American soldier who was killed Thursday was on a U.S.-Iraqi patrol in Mosul when the attack occurred, Lt. Col. Paul Hastings said. He said two Iraqi commandos were also wounded.

Hastings also said Iraqi and U.S. forces discovered 14 unidentified bodies in Mosul on Thursday. He said there were also reports of five more bodies picked up by family members. That brings to at least 66 the number of bodies — many of them believed members of the Iraqi security forces — found there since Nov. 18.

Mosul's police force disintegrated during an insurgent uprising last month, forcing the U.S. command to divert troops from the offensive in Fallujah.
