Several Members Of DC Council Ready To Back Howard Dean

Dean says the government didn't tell his generation the truth about Vietnam. He says a new generation has to do what his did - change presidents and change U.S. foreign policy.

Four councilmembers appear solidly committed to Dean. A source close to Ward Two Councilman Jack Evans says the councilman will formally endorse Dean's candidacy at a fund-raiser at the Phoenix Park Hotel on Capitol Hill Tuesday
