Bush Mum on Pakistan's Bin Laden Efforts
WASHINGTON - President Bush (news - web sites) offered no criticism Saturday of Pakistan's role in the still-unsuccessful hunt for al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites), even though Pakistan's army is pulling back from the region where the terrorist mastermind is believed hiding.

After an Oval Office meeting with Pakistan's president, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, Bush said, "His army has been incredibly active and very brave ... flushing out an enemy that though they had found safe haven."

Bush characterized Musharraf as "a determined leader to bring to justice not only people like Osama bin Laden but to bring to justice those would inflict harm and pain on his own people. ... I am very pleased with his efforts."

3. OBL who?!
I think he's long dead, but the capture and trial of any of the alleged 9-11 plotters would likely reveal the involvement of BushCo in 9-11. How things were allowed to happen, who trained them, who hired them, etc...

4. Musharraf doesn't WANT to catch him...
He's been protecting him from the git go. His Army consists almost completely of Osama sympathizers and Mush would be kicked out of office so fast rockets ain't even in the race.

This administration has no interest in bringing to justice the guy who attacked NY. None. Any protestations to the contrary are the baldest, most naked lies (and understood to be so).

6. LOL...this is funny because...
this morning when I left for work, all of the talking heads, and I do mean ALL, were talking about how big bad super leader bush was going to open a can of whup ass on Musharraf for the comments on reducing efforts to find Osama. I laughed as I left, thinking to myself, " Do those idiots really believe that?".
