TX 2 FL:White House-linked clandestine operation paid for "vote switching"
Edited on Mon Dec-06-04 05:00 AM by jamboi
A very long, detailed and very damning article. Especially enjoyable are the last few paragraphs discussing what Madsen terms "high crimes" that he alleges the Bush folks have committed. This article focuses primarily on past elections, that lead back to the White House and the Florida governor.

The prior three Madsen articles re: election fraud can be found here:

Texas to Florida: White House-linked clandestine operation paid for "vote switching" software

By Wayne Madsen
Online Journal Contributing Writer

December 6, 2004—The manipulation of computer voting machines in the recent presidential election and the funding of programmers who were involved in the operation are tied to an intricate web of shady off-shore financial trusts and companies, shady espionage operatives, Republican Party politicians close to the Bush family, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) contract vehicles.

An exhaustive investigation has turned up a link between current Florida Republican Representative Tom Feeney, a customized Windows-based program to suppress Democratic votes on touch screen voting machines, a Florida computer services company with whom Feeney worked as a general counsel and registered lobbyist while he was Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, and top level officials of the Bush administration.

According to a notarized affidavit signed by Clint Curtis, while he was employed by the NASA Kennedy Space Center contractor, Yang Enterprises, Inc., during 2000, Feeney solicited him to write a program to "control the vote." At the time, Curtis was of the opinion that the program was to be used for preventing fraud in the in the 2002 election in Palm Beach County, Florida. His mind was changed, however, when the true intentions of Feeney became clear: the computer program was going to be used to suppress the Democratic vote in counties with large Democratic registrations.

According to Curtis, Feeney and other top brass at Yang Enterprises, a company located in a three-story building in Oviedo, Florida, wanted the program, written in Visual Basic 5 (VB.5) and designed to operate in Windows and be portable to Unix-based vote tabulation systems, to be "undetectable" to voters and election supervisors.

1. Kickety-kick-kick!
I don't intend to buy into the faddish nature of this culture. That means I am open to new information, regardless of the "get over it" mantras.

This is very compelling investigation. Its implications are tremendous. This would be bigger than OJ ;) In the old days, when there was journalism, this would be headline stuff, ey?

How would the mass media handle it? Well, we know, right?

Deserves some attention.

2. The "Oh Oh!" alarm rings off for me
whenever I see the name "Wayne Madsen". Not because I don't have deep suspicions of fraud, or because I have proof that Mr. Madsen is a phoney or an agent provocateur, but I've learned to be very leery of unverifiable assertions.

But the above is a good deal better in that respect; there are a few more 'specifics'. A Google-search of "Clint Curtis", came up with the following 'hit': http://www.justaflyonthewall.com/votefraud.html I have enough solid names and assertions now, to make an exhaustive web-search. THIS IS IMPORTANT; it has to be done RIGHT.

5. Breathtaking.....
omg... absolutely breathtaking to see it all laid out. From the end...

People may wonder why a group of intelligence insiders would come forward to a non-major media outlet with such tantalizing information at this time. The corporate-beholden media cannot be trusted to report such a news story. A common theme from all the intelligence and ex-intelligence officials with whom I have communicated is that George W. Bush made a major mistake in attacking and purging the clandestine service of the CIA. The "agency," which extends far beyond the confines of Langley, Virginia, is having its revenge. It has willingly exposed a portion of a traditional clandestine CIA money route to expose the vote scam that was used to ensure Bush's election.

The clues, for example, the bogus check, were conveyed to us as exactly that—clues. Those markers pointed to the illegal nature of the covert money flows. The connections between NASA contracts, Texas, and Florida were additional clues to one of the major sources of the money used for the vote rigging. There were a number of roads that led to the same destination. But that is the nature of covert intelligence. Some patriotic and brave people, who have served in silence for a number of decades, have chosen their country over a corrupt family and administration. It is now time for the constitutional process to begin. Rectification of the criminal conspiracy that denied John Kerry and John Edwards the White House must begin in Ohio, and extend to Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, and other states where votes were flipped by computers from the Kerry to the Bush column. Past elections must also be investigated and those who were done in by this fraud, namely, people like Max Cleland, Gray Davis, Al Gore, and others must also have their day in court.

9. The revenge of the Company
Who, in their wildest fevered ravings, would have ever thought that the CIA would be on the side of the angels?

As I've said before, if Bush goes into the White House with an electoral victory, he'll leave it as a federal convict. It may take a few years yet, but I am convinced it will happen.

6. The Top Ten Conservative Idiots (Week 9) - Tom Feeney #1 Idiot
Tom Feeney - Florida House Speaker Tom Feeney has done some sterling work in his effort to reach the top of the chart this week, so how could we refuse him the number one spot? You may recall Mr. Feeney as the man who led the fight to have the Florida legislature appoint its own set of electors for GW Bush just in case the US Supreme Court ruled in favor of Al Gore. Hey, remember when Al got blasted for wanting to win by any means necessary? Anyway, after last week balking at the Sunshine State election reform task-force's recommendation that $40 million should be spent on fixing Florida's election system, the Feenster spake forth these mighty words of wisdom: "I don't fix something that's not broken." Well thank goodness for that. Now we can all rest assured, safe in the knowledge that the Florida voting sytem is, in fact, NOT broken. Got that everyone? NOT broken.

10. Here's a couple of stories about Feeney's 'aide' Bridgette Gregory
Speaker calls press conference to defend his aide

By Dara Kam
Gannett News Service

TALLAHASSEE -- It's not unusual for lawmakers to do damage control after a news story is published, but House Speaker Tom Feeney beat reporters to the punch Wednesday on a story yet to be written.

The chivalrous Feeney called a pre-emptive press conference to defend the reputation of one of his top aides, Bridgette Gregory, a one-time Hooter's waitress and former Republican Party aide who now holds dual roles working in the House Speaker's office and coordinating Feeney's exploratory campaign for Congress.

In the bizarre briefing, Feeney chastised an unidentified reporter for "character assassination," accusing the "apoplectic" and "overzealous" individual of "running up and down Adams Street" trying to dig up dirt about Gregory and questioning her qualifications for her $55,644-a-year position as a legislative analyst.

Palm Beach Post reporter and author S.V. Date confirmed he has been working on a story about Gregory.

Feeney spokeswoman Kim Stone said Feeney seeks to charge the Palm Beach Post $2,500 for copies of timesheets, work products, cell phone records, travel statements and e-mail by Gregory and another aide, Paul Hawkes.

The newspaper also seeks information on Gregory's qualifications and the salaries of other House-employed attorneys.

"I'm offended by it," said Feeney.

Feeney defends aide

House Speaker Tom Feeney lashed out Wednesday at a newspaper reporter who has been investigating Bridgette Gregory, a $56,000-a-year policy analyst in his office.

"She's one of the busiest state employees we have," Feeney said at an unusual news conference he called to defend her.

Feeney apparently was angry at Shirish V. Date, a Palm Beach Post reporter who has been calling Gregory's family, friends and associates.

Gregory, 27, previously worked for the Republican Party of Florida and has helped with Feeney's exploratory campaign for Congress. Feeney said she has not done campaign work on state time and has reimbursed the state for all personal phone calls she made on a state cell phone. Last fall she was paid $11,000 by the campaign when she took five weeks off without pay from her House job, a common practice among state officials.

Besides other duties, Gregory has handled special events for the speaker's office, Feeney said. She is "incredibly talented and very bright and if anything, underpaid." Date declined to comment.

12. Um, this is not very likely
... the program, written in Visual Basic 5 (VB.5) and designed to operate in Windows and be portable to Unix-based vote tabulation systems ...

You cannot port VB code to Unix - you'd have to re-write completely in a different language. Also, if the code exploits Windows, as it would have to in VB, it would be useless on Unix. Also, the fraudulent functionality required on a touchscreen machine would be different from the one needed on the tabulator. At first glance, this is idiotic.

The whole article sets off my BS detectors, kinda like the whole 'no airplane hit the Pentagon' stuff. One of the tactics of the bad guys is to spread bogus disinfo designed to make people highlighting real issues look like loons.
