Bush Links Saudi Attack, Iraq Election

"They want us to leave Saudi Arabia, they want us to leave Iraq they want us to grow timid and weary in the face of their willingness to kill randomly, kill innocent people. That's why these elections in Iraq are very important," Bush told reporters.

Bush, speaking at the end of an Oval Office meeting with Iraq's interim president, Ghazi al-Yawar, thanked the Saudi government for responding quickly to the attack by Muslim militants in Jeddah.

He sent his condolences over the killing of the Saudi guards defending the consulate and said he was confident the Saudi government "will share information with us" about the attackers.

"The attack in Saudi Arabia remind us that the terrorists are still on the move. They're interested in affecting the will of free countries," Bush said.

As far as killing innocent people, bush better look in the mirror.
