Berlin building searched in probe of alleged plot against Allawi

BERLIN German authorities have searched a Berlin building in their investigation of an alleged plot to attack the Iraqi prime minister.
Ayad Allawi (EE'-yahd ah-LAH'-wee) was visiting the area last week.

A federal prosecutor says the search is part of a related investigation of a fourth person who hasn't been charged.

Three Iraqis are under arrest after surveillance investigators noticed suspicious activities. Prosecutors allege this signaled an attack on Allawi was planned.

A fourth man was taken into custody, questioned and released over the weekend.
