WHISTLEBLOWER AFFIDAVIT: Programmer Built Vote Rigging Prototype at Republican Congressman's Request!
CLAIM: Rep. Tom Feeney (R-FL) Asked Company to Create E-Vote Fraud Software!

*** A BRAD BLOG EXCLUSIVE! PLEASE CREDIT! ***

In stunning revelations set to rock the vote from Tallahassee to Capitol Hill -- and perhaps even a bit further up Pennsylvania Avenue -- a Florida computer programmer has now made remarkable claims in a detailed sworn affidavit, signed this morning and obtained exclusively by The BRAD BLOG!

- Affidavit in .PDF format

The programmer claims that he designed and built a "vote rigging" software program at the behest of then Florida Congressman, now U.S. Congressman, Republican Tom Feeney of Florida's 24th Congressional District.

Clint Curtis, 46, claims that he built the software for Feeney in 2000 while working at a sofware design and engineering company in Oviedo, Florida (Feeney's home district).

Curtis, in his affidavit, says that as technical advisor and programmer at Yang Enterprises, Inc. (YEI) he was present at company meetings where Feeney was present "on at least a dozen occasions".

Feeney, who had run in 1994 as Jeb Bush's running-mate in his initial unsuccessful bid for Florida Governor, was serving as both corporate counsel and registered lobbyist for YEI during the period that Curtis worked at the company. Feeney was also concurrently serving as a Florida state congressman while performing those services for YEI. Feeney would eventually become Speaker of the Florida House before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002. He is now a member of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.

At an October 2000 meeting with Feeney, according to the affidavit and BRAD BLOG interviews with Curtis over the past three days, Feeney inquired whether the company could build a "vote fraud software prototype".

At least three YEI employees are said to have been present at that meeting; Curtis, company owner, Mrs. Li Woan Yang, and her executive secretary, Mike Cohen. Two other YEI employees may have come in and out at different points of the meeting according to Curtis.

Curtis says that Feeney "was very specific in the design and specifications required for this program."

" He detailed, in his own words, that; (a) the program needed to be touch-screen capable (b) the user should be able to trigger the program without any additional equipment (c) the programming to accomplish this needed to stay hidden even if the source code was inspected."

Though there was no problem with the first two requirements, Curtis explained to the Congressman that it would be "virtually impossible to hide such code written to change the voting results if anyone is able to review the uncompiled source code"

Nonetheless, he was asked at the meeting by Mrs. Yang to build the prototype anyway.

Curtis, "a life-long Republican" at the time, claims that it was his initial belief that Feeney's interest was in trying to stop Democrats from using "such a program to steal an election". Curtis had assumed that Feeney, "wanted to be able to detect and prevent that if it occurred."

Upon delivery of the software design and documentation on CD to Mrs. Yang, Curtis again explained to her that it would be impossible to hide routines created to manipulate the vote if anybody would be able to inspect the precompiled source code.

Mrs. Yang then told him, "You don’t understand, in order to get the contract we have to hide the manipulation in the source code. This program is needed to control the vote in South Florida." {emphasis in affidavit}

9. I don't know how true
this is,but doing a search on yang enterprises they had alot of dealings with feeny, and there was an ethics probe. So if it isn't true at least they did their research. It doesn't seem like that much of a reach.

22. Allegations are stunning
If true, Feeney and the Yang executives are going to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

However, there is a big difference between allegations and proof. We have a long way to go on this one. We are going to have to be patient.

4. I hope this is REAL!!!
I cannot help but be skeptical since I recently suggested that what in necessary to demonstrate (PROVE) fraud is an "insider".

I want this to be true,...but am always suspicious of another right-wing plant. I cannot help myself.

If this is REAL,...perhaps, perhaps, it will generate the courage necessary to be "Americans first".

7. Crap
This is the same crap that was posted earlier. If you read the thing, it sounds way too contrived. "Oh, oddly enough the last three numbers from the last phone call were 911." "The clock stopped at 12:34"...

I don't doubt that someone did something somewhere, and I hope I'm wrong and the article is true and can be proved to be true, but if you read it, it sounds like a bunch of junk. If people are going to enlist someone to program "vote flipping" I'm sure they'll get someone a lot more stable than this guy, and they sure will keep their mouth shut about it and/or kill the guy.

8. Thank you SO MUCH! This is possibly great news.
Sure hope Florida DU'ers will describe their opinion of Feeney.

Do you remember how he was one of the ones organizing a posse to make sure that if Al Gore won the recount in Florida that they would choose an entirely new slate of electors to go specifically to vote AGAINST him, REGARDLESS of Gore's win in Florida?

Here his rotten face is:

He was also in the spotlight for a while for some strange stories surrounding one of his female employees, private cell phones, and his refusal to allow public scrutiny of his phone records from his office even though they were charged to the taxpayers.

Did you see the article above says that he was Jeb Bush's running mate in 1994?

From a Florida site:
TALLAHASSEE -- Despite repeated claims that he never used his influence to
benefit his client, House Speaker Tom Feeney arranged at least one meeting
between state officials and an Oviedo computer firm that was having trouble
with its state contract.-
E-mails obtained by The Daytona Beach News-Journal through the state's
public records law contradict statements made by the Oviedo Republican to
the state Ethics Commission, which cleared him of ethical missteps
surrounding his ties to his client, Yang Enterprises.-
Yang's dealings with the state have been at the heart of an ongoing dispute
over questionable invoices in its $8 million technology contract with the
Florida Department of Transportation...10/13/02

ORLANDO — A top Volusia County Democrat filed an ethics complaint Thursday against Republican Tom Feeney, alleging he used his influence as Florida House Speaker to shield a legal client from an investigation. The complaint was filed with the Florida Ethics Commission in Tallahassee by Richard Martinez, vice chairman of the Volusia County Democratic Party. Martinez lives in District 24, the new congressional district that Feeney helped create and is running in this election. The new district covers parts of Brevard, Orange, Seminole and Volusia counties.6/14/02

I'm hoping and praying that what Madsen says at the end is accurate.

It's just overwhelming, isn't it? These guys MUST be brought to answer for their actions.

I hope everyone reads it. Not to be missed. Thanks.

19. We ALL hope, as in actual American people, no doubt, right?
I just read Nancy Waterman's link to the Online Journal article by Wayne Madsen, and near the beginning he pointed out that Tom Feeney's computer connection also worked for NASA.

Look at this photo, behind Feeney, on his desk:

Creepy, isn't it? He deserves to be thrown into the darkest corner of the most ridiculous prison we've got.

24. There is a difference between FALSE hope and REAL hope,...
,...you and I fight to MAKE REAL hope,...the rest cling to blind faith,...a faith which forces you to "doormat" status.

I am an advocate for the "doormats" because,...I just wanna'. For those who demand an answer re: why I would fight for ALL humanity,...I say,...if I don't embrace them,...who will?

Personal Knowledge of vote fraud

In regards to electronic touch screen voting machines, I have personal knowledge that they might be purposely inaccurate. As a programmer for a company in Florida we were tasked by Republican Tom Feeney with a prototype of a voting program that could switch the vote and be undetectable. If you would like more information please refer to the web site http://www.justaflyonthewall.com/votefraud.html or email me.

If the information is of any value to you, feel free to link to any pages you like.

Keep up the good work.

12. excerpt from http://www.justaflyonthewall.com/votefraud.html
While employed at Wong Enterprises, Congressman Feeney had requested if Wong could write a voting program that could alter the vote and be undetectable. As the technology advisor, I explained that as long as the source code was provided and complied under supervision, code which altered the vote and was undetectable could not be built. Another problem would be that no one would trust a program that provided for no paper trail to substantiate its accuracy. When the vote was flipped the paper trail could easily detect the fraud.

Yang != Wong

all seems kind of silly

14. Some of the people he mentions are connected together
"The complaint alleged that Sean O'Keefe, the Administrator of NASA; Space Gateway Support, LLC, a NASA contractor; and Yang Enterprises, Inc., a NASA subcontractor, unlawfully used federal property and funds for campaign activities on behalf of Tom Feeney, a candidate in Florida 's 24 th Congressional District in 2002. The Commission either dismissed or found no reason to believe in this matter."

15. Be skeptical
I think the affidavit could easily be doctored, given the digital form. Here's another thread discussing this.

16. Please hold your enthusiasm
If a person wishes to make an affidavit regarding potential misconduct by persons of significant political importance and that person doesn't first seek out an attorney to guide him through the process, the person is a complete fool.

There is no evidence that an attorney was involved in the taking and recording of this affidavit. It's especially interesting that Mr Curtis' own name is misspelled at the bottom of the document.

I'd say he has blown his case to hell by being stupid - sorry to say that.
