Pastor Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of Child
snip

Rev. Mike Hintz was fired from the First Assembly of God Church, located at 2725 Merle Hay Road, on Oct. 30. Hintz was the youth pastor there for three years.

Police said he started an affair with a 17-year-old in the church youth group this spring.

Church officials fired Hintz immediately after hearing the allegations.

This guy has a family with 2 small children. Bush had him and family on stage a couple of months ago as an example of a great family values family. I about died laughing this morning when they showed him on stage with Bush.

Bush signs Tax Relief Act

By DAVID PITT Associated Press Writer
The Associated Press
DES MOINES, Iowa

President Bush visited the swing state of Iowa on Monday to sign the Working Families Tax Relief Act of 2004, which he said would mean lower tax bills for 94 million Americans.

"It comes at just the right time for America. Some of the provisions were set to expire at the end of 2004 ..." he said. "That would have been a setback for hardworking families of America and a setback for our economy."

Bush introduced Mike and Sharla Hintz, a couple from Clive, whom he said benefited from his tax plan.

Last year, because of the enhanced the child tax credit, they received an extra $1,600 in their tax refund, Bush said. With other tax cuts in the bill, they saved $2,800 on their income taxes.

They used the money to buy a wood-burning stove to more efficiently heat their home, made some home improvements and went on a vacation to Minnesota, the president said.

"Next year, maybe they'll want to come to Texas," Bush quipped.

Mike Hintz, a First Assembly of God youth pastor, said the tax cuts also gave him additional money to use for health care.

He said he supports Bush's values.

6. Thanks for that!
I wondered where to get a clip, I wish he would go to Texas! He was also a lier, he could not have used $2800 for all those things, the wood stove + installation would eat most of that. You see these kind of values all the time with friends of Bush.

8. Here's more on Bush/Hintz (and a pix)
http://www.dmregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041005/NEWS09/410050398/1001/NEWS

Snip
Bush described the experience of a Clive family - Mike and Sharla Hintz and their children, ages 4 to 8 - to illustrate the benefits of the legislation he signed.

"Under all the tax relief we've passed, they saved about $2,800 last year. With this extra money, they bought a wood-burning stove to reduce their home heating costs," the president said.

"They also made home repairs and improvements. They took the family on a vacation to Minnesota. Next year when you get your check, you may want to come to Texas," he told them. "Without the tax bill I'm signing . . . the Hintzes would have paid $1,200 more in federal taxes next year." The credit would have fallen to $700.

Mike Hintz, youth pastor at First Assembly of God Church and a Republican, said afterward that he agreed with Bush: "Anytime you bring tax relief to taxpayers, they'll use it in a way that benefits the economy as a whole."

it would be great if we could begin to use them in a campaign against the religous right.
they steal, lie, and indulge in illicit, illegal sex in the same proportion as any other sector of society.
they merely get to carry the appearence of goodness.
but the appearence doesn't make it so.

24. President Bush featured Hinz--in person--during a campaign speech
I live in Des Moines, Iowa.

I just wanted to note, that Bush went beyond mentioning Hintz (the man charged with sexual exploitation of a child) in a speech.

Hintz and his family were showcased, in Des Moines, during a campaign rally in early October.

The entire Hintz family was front and center during the speech. President Bush pointed them out and began discussing how they benefitted from his tax policies.

The quotes about the Hintzs' using the money from Bush's tax cuts to buy a wood-burning stove and a Minnesota vacation--are direct quotes from the speech in which Bush spotlighted the Hintz family.

Here is a couple of quotes from Bush's campaign rally, which was closed to the public and by invitation only.

"It's a special day for Mike and Sharla, not because they're with the President or with Chairman Grassley, but because it's their 13th wedding anniversary. (Applause.) Theirs is a typical story. See, last year they received a child tax credit check for $1,600 for their four children. And under all the tax relief we've passed, they saved about $2,800 last year. With this extra money they bought a wood-burning stove to reduce their home heating costs. They made a decision for their family.

They also made home repairs and improvements. They took the family on a vacation to Minnesota. Next year when you get your check, you may want to come to Texas. (Laughter.) Without the tax bill I'm signing today, the Hintzes would have paid $1,200 more in federal taxes next year. Think about that. Here's a family of four, working hard to raise their kids, the money would have been going out of their pocket. I believe they can spend that $1,200 better than the federal government can. (Applause.)"

30. It's distressing to see that he has little girls...
It's very distressing to see that this man, who would "have an affair" with a 17-year old, also has 2 little girls.

If this man has no respect for the boundaries between generations, I am greatly concerned for his little girls.

I sincerely hope the authorities follow the proper procedures, to ensure that these little girls have not been molested.

Our local news carried a story about this guy. Through his attorney, he's denying that he used his influence as a counselor to gain a sexual relationship with this 17-year old girl, who was a member of his youth group.

He's confessed to having an affair with her. However, he denies that he misused his authority as a church pastor and senior youth counselor to have a relationship with her. So, this man is a complete liar and has yet to face the severe power break in which he engaged--with this high-school student.

It was also reported on our local news, that the affair went on during an overseas trip to India. Apparently, this pastor took the church youth group to visit orphanages.

How convenient. He's in charge with no supervision and this girl's parents aren't around either. Yet, he claims his authority played no role in him manipulating her into a relationship.

Sick and wrong.

35. FAGs (FOGs?) have a nice church in Rockford, IL
Where they built this enormous cross taller than the enormous church. It reaches into the sky on a brick pillar...with this really bizarre cement structure pointing at it that looks like, well, a bulbous base and an erected, um, pointy thing.

We mentioned it once to a family friend who worships there, that it looks like a phallus. She doesn't talk to us anymore.

All photos of the place do not show the inconvenient sideview of this monstrosity clearly visible from the busy, signal-controlled intersection in front of it (Spring Creek and Mulford Rds. for those in the know).

39. FAG churchs
These are very entranced in cult behavior. They take over your life and many people I know who go there have this wierd "I am above all" attitude. They think whatever they do is blessed by God and that you are beneath them. Many of the ones I know are preoccupied about sex, they spend a lot of time on the evils of it. They put up the phallus symbols I think to attract those type of people. It scares me.:scared:
