5 accused in election probe (Miami-Dade County, FL)
The Florida Elections Commission ruled that enough evidence exists to accuse five workers in the Miami-Dade public defender's office of breaking election laws.

BY GARY FINEOUT

gfineout@herald.com

TALLAHASSEE - Florida's election regulators said there's enough reason to believe that five top employees of Miami-Dade Public Defender Bennett Brummer committed numerous violations of state election laws leading up to the November election.

Most of the violations stemmed from accusations that the five misused their official positions to try to convince fellow employees in the public defender's office to support Brummer's reelection this year.

The Florida Elections Commission voted during a closed-door session in November, however, against charging Brummer, despite recommendations from commission attorneys that the veteran Democratic politician also should be accused of breaking Florida law. The results of that meeting became public on Monday.

Brummer, who was first elected in 1976, vowed on Monday to fight the charges and said that his employees would be vindicated.

6. This is the GOP M.O.
They have a plan. They're dirty but then make sure the Dems are a little dirty. So, they know the Dems won't say a word. Then, they sandbag 'em.

It's Lucy with the football.

An example: If you go to opensecrets.org, you'll notice that all the big GOP contributors give between 25-30% of their funds to Dems. It's hush money.

But more important, notice the pattern. The GOP gets away with their cr@p; the Dems are hung out to dry. And they don't learn.

Maybe we need to get the whole DLC "Hooked on Phonics".

3. Agreed.
Funny how there are no stories that the FBI is investigating RNC-biases in Florida.

5. Wow! Only one oddity for ALL of Florida 2004
OOOOOOOOOHH those Florida Democrats :puke:

This is probably about as justified as Norm Coleman going after Kofi Annon (sp?) in the "Oil for Food" thing as opposed to DICK Cheney illegally selling Millions of dollars of Oil Equipment to Iraq (and Iran) at the same time.:grr:

8. Oh yeah. Norm Coleman.
The same guy who, after the Wellstone plane went down in flames, was "elected" to Wellstone's Senate seat?

That guy?

"There was evidence of an intense post-crash fire," (acting chairwoman of the NTSB Carol) Carmody said. ``The fuselage (main body of the plane) was destroyed. The cockpit was gone. The left wing was badly burned. The right wing was severely damaged, and the tail was two-thirds intact."

Star Tribune http://www.startribune.com/stories/1752/3391129.html

"It looks like a tremendous fire pit," said Kevin Smith, a spokesman for the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.

Norm Coleman:
"If I win on Tuesday, the president is going to owe me big time," (Bush's hand-picked Minnesota Republican Senate Candidate Norm) Coleman said. "We walked through fire to get here."

9. Boy, the out and out hypocrisy of the pugs is astounding. After
at least three elections of fraud, the sheer audacity to charge a Dem is the ultimate nadir.
