Poll: Fla. Voters Had No Voting Problems
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Most Florida voters had no problem casting a ballot on Election Day and many say they are confident their vote was counted correctly, a poll shows.

More than nine in 10 respondents said they had no problems, other than having to wait in long lines, according to the Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

While 75 percent of voters described themselves as "very confident" or "somewhat confident" their vote was correctly counted, the degree of satisfaction varied between winners and losers, according to assistant poll director Clay Richards.

They report this crap, but nothing of the thousands of complaints of election frauds.

2. So this means ...
... about 10% of voters did have problems? That's unacceptable.

16. 10% is amply enough to tilt the balance. Even 2% or less.
What was the difference betweem the idiot and Gore in 2000 already?

8. 10%?
75% were "Very..." or "Somewhat Confident." That means that 25% were NOT confident. Not good at all.

3. I was in Southerm Broward county
Miramar K/E office. I saw what happened. 6 to 12 hour lines. "I voted for Kerry --but it said Bush"---etc, We chased the Repub lawyers with our legal team all day on NOv. 2nd from Precinct to precinct. They started challenging voters 1st thing in the morning.

13. Problems too...
in Cooper City (middle to upper-middle income, predominantly white upscale community). I voted mid-afternoon on election day, so encountered no lines, not more than a 5-minute wait. But then again, Cooper City is not as "culturally diverse" as Mirimar, so we had plenty of machines and no one making challenges.

I had the same problem with the machine - it wasn't until I touched the Kerry box for the 3rd time that the 'X' appeared there instead of next to junior's name.

7. So 25% NO CONFIDENCE is now acceptable for "democracy?"
FUCK THAT. Do not believe ANYTHING coming out of Florida. That state is a pox on democracy itself, as long as the Bush Crime Family has anything to do with it.

11. If there wasn't a strong feeling of voter dissatisfaction
this would not be a news item at all. "Everybody Thinks Everything is Normal" is not a headline story.

12. So what?
How do they know unless they sat there and WATCHED it being counted? Polling people on something they know nothing about is stupid. I can obviously see WHY it's being done and I wish more people could think critically enough to see through it.
